Who is responsible
The controller of personal data collected through this website is Akwa Technic (Nik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. · Akdeniz Metal Makina Sanayi ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.), Demirtaş Dumlupınar OSB Mah. Erguvan Sokak No:3, Osmangazi, Bursa, Türkiye.

What we collect when you contact us
When you send a quote request or a job application, we store what you typed: name, email address, company, country, telephone number, the machines you selected and your answers to the form questions, together with the language you used and the time of submission.
Job applications also include the position you applied for and the CV you upload. Only authorized content studio users can open the CV.
We also store a one-way hash of your internet address. It exists only to stop a single connection flooding the form and cannot be turned back into an address.
Why we use it
We use contact form details to answer your enquiry and, if it leads to a project, to prepare a quotation.
It is not used for advertising, not enriched from other sources, and not sold or passed to anyone outside the two companies above, apart from the hosting provider that stores it on our behalf.
Sending it yourself instead
Some forms offer an email draft instead. Nothing is stored here in that case: your own email provider and Akwa Technic receive the message you send.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for three years after the last contact, so we can follow up on a project and answer warranty questions. Job applications are kept for one year unless you ask us to keep them longer. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction or deletion, or object to our use of it. Write to info@akdenizmakina.com.tr, quoting your reference number where you have one, and we will answer within thirty days.
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority.
Cookies and counters
Essential browser storage remembers your cookie choice for six months. Optional analytics and marketing are off until you allow them, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
With your analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 (Google) measures page views, traffic sources and device information. It uses first-party _ga cookies with a lifetime of up to six months to distinguish browsers. This integration does not send form contents, email addresses, URL query strings or fragments to Google. Advertising features are disabled. You can withdraw consent in Cookie settings; tracking stops and accessible Google Analytics cookies are removed. The site also keeps consent-based aggregate usage counters separately.
Spare parts membership
To create a shop account we store your name, company, email, optional country and phone, and a salted password hash. A short-lived essential session cookie lets you access the members-only catalogue; its token is stored as a hash on the server. Your request basket is saved locally in this browser for your account.
Parts requests are linked to your account and include the quantities and prices shown when you sent them. You can request account access, correction or deletion through the contact address above.
Welding assistant
Questions asked in the welding assistant are answered from this website’s own published data; no external AI service receives them. To improve the answers, the site keeps a daily counter of the question text (trimmed to 200 characters), the language and whether it was answered or handed to a colleague. No identifier, address or contact detail is stored with it.
Links and editor access
Directions, social media, WhatsApp and email links open external services, which receive information under their own policies when you use them. No external map or social widget loads on its own.
The content studio uses authenticated identity and server-enforced roles. Requests submitted through this website are visible to administrators, editors and publishers only, and editorial actions are recorded.
